BORAM, other convention info now available

The 2009 Book of Reports and Memorials (BORAM)—designed to inform and prepare delegates and called workers for this summer's synod convention—is now available. The book contains reports of the last two years of WELS ministry activity and presents the ministry plan for the next biennium.
While BORAM is being distributed about a month later than in previous convention years, it contains all the latest pertinent budget projections and proposals—information that previously had to be posted as supplemental reports online.
Copies were mailed to all male called workers and convention delegates May 29 and should arrive the first week of June. The book is also available for download on the convention Web site, www.wels.net/convention.
Additional materials available on the convention Web site include lists of the candidates nominated for election, pre-convention news stories, preliminary agendas, floor committee assignments, and other synods reports.
During convention, the WELS Technology office will again be providing live streaming coverage of the convention. Through the week, presentations, resolutions, and news will be posted on the convention site. Daily convention wrap-ups will also be sent through "Together."
Look for more pre-convention information in upcoming issues of Together, in July's Forward in Christ magazine and WELS Connection video, and on the convention Web site.
